I have 10 years experience as a residential appraiser in the Southeastern Idaho area. I mostly service the areas within Bannock, Bingham, Power and Caribou Counties. In June of 2008, I became a Certified Residential Appraiser in the state of Idaho. Immediately upon receiving my appraiser's license, I became FHA approved. I currently have an appraiser trainee who services areas within Bingham, Bonneville, Fremont, Jefferson and Madison Counties in Idaho. I am a member of the National Association of Real Estate Appraisers with a Certified Residential Appraiser designation.
I graduated with honors from Eastern Washington University with a BA in College of Letters and Social Sciences in 1994. Prior to my career change as an appraiser, I was a loan officer at a large bank. Aside from my experience as a loan officer, I have gained valuable knowledge and insight into other aspects of real estate, as my Supervisory Appraiser started his career as a contractor and builder and then a real estate agent prior to becoming an appraiser.
The appraisal profession has proven to be a rewarding and satisfying profession, and I strive to complete the most comprehensive and accurate appraisals with regard to the Scope of Work pertaining to the appraisal request. I believe a high level of commitment to the profession is vital to ensure a sense of public trust, in which I have made a commitment to adhere to all governing aspects of the appraisal profession.
